Over 3,500 students, teachers and parents recently enjoyed a trip on Camp Nathanael's "airplane" over a four week period.  They learned about climates and seasons, geography and cultures around the world as part of our 2011 Outdoor Education Program.  That number included students from 45 school groups in 9 counties and 108 home schoolers.  The largest one day attendance was 273! Camp Nathanael hosted a new community/family outreach, Back to School Bash, on August 16th with over 160 in attendance.  The program had a twofold purpose:  to provide an afternoon and evening of fun for families, and to introduce to parents and children the programs and activites that we offer.  Folks started arriving after school between 4:00 and 4:30.  After checking in they were offered a wide variety of ...continue
