Once again this year, the summer was ushered in with three days of Day Camp on June 7th-9th. Day camp was originally scheduled to have begun a day earlier. However some local school systems did not close until the 6th. As a result the Camp was delayed to accommodate those students. The theme for Camp Nathanael's summer resident camp was "Shine". Matthew 5:16, the summer's theme verse, reminded campers to let their light shine before everyone so they can see Christ in them and glorify Him as is intended. Campers were encouraged that as Christians they should not live a camouflaged life. Many campers were challenged by this in the lives they lead.
