Spring Work Week

Camp Nathanael Loses a Bit of History

Back in the earliest days of Camp Nathanael many dozens of pine seedlings were planted in various places on the camp grounds.  Over the past 70 years they grew into huge trees.  Some have been lost due to storms or disease.  Several years ago one blew down during a heavy wind and did significant damage to the roof of the Chapel. Senior Citizens Enjoy a Day at Camp Nathanael

In what has become one of Camp Nathanael's most popular events, over three hundred senior citizens enjoyed a day at camp in mid-April.  This outreach began in the early 1990's as a one-day program, but grew over the years to the point of maxing out our dining facilities.  It was expanded to two days in 2005 and we are still close to capacity. Annual Couples Retreat

Camp Nathanael hosted its 18th annual Married Couples Retreat the last weekend in April. Twenty-seven couples enjoyed the time of fellowship, fun, food and encouragement in their married lives. There were several new couples this year, as well as those who have been a part of the retreat for many years.
