At a recent meeting of the Knott County Board of Education, mission director Roy Hodson and camp director Jeff McIntyre were presented with a Community Partner Award.  The award was presented by school superintendent Kim King.  The inscription on the plaque reads, "In sincere appreciation for your outstanding dedicated service to the childen of Knott County."  Camp Nathanael and Scripture Memory Mountain Mission ...continue

A steady stream of vans from senior citizen centers in seven counties rolled into the campgrounds last week.  Seniors also came in a bus from the Hazard Veterans Center and in private cars.  The program was expanded to two days several years ago in order to accommodate all who want to come.  More that 300 seniors enjoyed beautiful spring weather, an interesting and entertaining program, and a dinner of ham and sweet ...continue
